Also, Black Mark crew setups are probably one of the \u0022final frontiers\u0022 of relatively unexplored or undocumented realms of this game, so it was fun to think about that a bit.\n\nJoke\u2019s on Me - NMMP Fleet Challenge\nGrand Vainqueur + Jacques Duq de Valois, El Fantasma (RotF version), captain (Cursed)  (34)\nMaui\u2019s Fishhook + Sir Meyer Hampstead, Papa Doc (RtSS version), helmsman (Cursed), oarsman (Cursed) (36)\nUT: Celestine\u2019s Charts\nForts to bring: all, since both ships will turn Cursed (priority could be for English OR French forts to keep some faction flavor)\nTerrain preferences: vote 3 per player for this fleet to place 2 whirlpools and 1 reef (SAT through whirlpool can make GV more mobile\/dangerous)\n\nThe Cursed have gotten a bit jealous of some other factions, especially since they never got their skeletal hands on a bombardier or hoist. So the Black Mark gang has commandeered a few vessels to wreak havoc. GV has SAT+Reroll to help burn enemies.\n\nMF is a fun candidate for England\u2019s only Black Mark crew, between her cargo hold pairing decently well with his Hoard ability, and her huge point cost allowing the use of high point Cursed crew once Black Mark is active. Since RtSS crew are legal for the challenge, I wanted to include one if possible. Papa Doc pairs well, giving the ship some defense and increasing her boarding potential for Hoard. Ideally the canceller ability will act as a return fire mechanic - MF has no Captain, but could cancel an enemy ship\u2019s captain before returning fire with her formidable cannons. Even if Hoard fails, MF\u2019s ability helps to nearly guarantee some kind of stealing from a close encounter with the enemy kind. Losing crew in the boarding parties isn\u2019t entirely bad, as it frees up cargo space for more treasure. Just the kind of demented trade-off The Cursed would be comfortable with. (though Papa Doc might not be happy if he gets killed in a boarding party before the helmsman; that could be a tough decision)\n\nUT included since this fleet has no navigator and The Cursed do not expect to explore first - they\u2019d rather steal than dig."}
