He has curated a long and storied career on this caution, and takes pleasure in slowly crushing the United States' enemies with the inexorability of his plans. Now, after his victories against The Barbary Corsairs he is once again called upon to defend his nation, this time against a foe far more... supernatural. Preble then surmises that in order to beat a supernatural foe one must have supernatural power of their own. A power America thankfully possesses after it's clashes with The Cursed in The Gulf. To further tip the scales, he even taps the power of technology with the new, secretly constructed 'war submersibles' and a eclectic collection of mercenaries. With all this power at his back, Edward Preble is confident he has a fleet that not even the undead can scratch. The Great White Fleet will be sunk, although this time it will be bloodless. Time to give the cursed a rude welcome to the 19th century.

This fleet relies on Mercury and it's crew to allow Copeoptera and Lamon to approach with their marines to catch Delusion and sink it without ever surfacing. It will spend as many actions as possible to catch Delusion close to a reef and drag her over it with George Washington Lebeaux. Otherwise, extra actions will be generated to further close the distance between Slipstream and her target. Chesapeake meanwhile exists as bait that will force Delusion to approach lest all her gold be stolen. The marines should endeavor to place herself between these two ships as much as possible to get her shots in while rattlesnake should be as cautious as possible. She does after all have time on her side."}
