Should be within sight in a few days' time. I'm not usually this restless on the seas, but feel as though something unnatural awaits us at those Cursed islands. Smith and the two women seemed confident that there would be nothing to worry about. Only that man with the large hat took the legends of the curse seriously. Curious.
The tipsy man at the tavern who spoke of these isles seemed certain that untold riches lay hiding on those shores. It would be a great waste of time and equipment if he were lying. I only hope the enthusiasm of the others to join me is enough proof that the treasures exist. It is late. I shall write again, on the morrow."

Sean closed his log book, and sat back in his chair. The desk in front of him took up almost the entirety of the tiny ship's cabin; there way just enough room for a cot, and for him to squeeze past the desk to the doorway.
The night sky was illuminated by a near full moon, and a sea of stars. Sean checked that he was still on course with the rest of the vessels, and made his way to the helm. The large Galley was the closest ship to his own. The man with the big hat was commanding that one. He trusted the man most, solely for his caution when the curse on the treasure was mentioned.
Adjusting his course slightly, Sean took out a spyglass and looked ahead. A shiver ran down his back as he saw the isles, highlighted by the moonlight on the horizon. Barely visible from a shroud of mist and fog, the Islas de Plata rose ominously from the sea. Tomorrow night, by the light of the full moon, they'd be docked at the first of the isles.
Putting away his spyglass, Sean "Cannonball" Gallows prepared himself for what could be the most important days and nights of his life. If he survived them, that is.

**************************************

There's no set strategy for this fleet; the Raven and Cry are scout ships, taking advantage of their speed and cargo to get treasure from the islands. The Mermaid was added to compensate the point loss of the helmsman from Deliverance (original draft exceeded the ship's point limit), and serves as an additional scout ship, that can keep up with the Cry. The Raven also functions as a hybrid, with excellent cannons, and Hamnersmith at both command and the helm. The Akua Lapu is a full hybrid, with four cargo to carry goods, and Captain Barbossa to ensure good cannon rolls. The Jolly Mon carries only "Cannonball" Gallows because the Hag of Tortuga deserves a break. The Deliverance, while not at her fastest, is a Cursed-hating powerhouse, with Crimson Angel and Calico Cat teaming up for SAT, captain, reroll, and world hating to stack with the ship's built-in Cursed hating. To add insult to injury, Capitaine Chivalle, "The Penniless Frenchman", is there to punish the crew of whatever Cursed ships rise to protect the silver three. I'm hoping the firepower of the Akua and Deliverance are able to stave off the Cursed Fiends long enough for the Raven and Cry to secure a gold victory, all while one of the three capable ships carries the Silver Three back to the Pirate home island."}
