He assembled an all-star team of classic English seafarers to take down the legendary ship.  His friends include such illustrious names as Gold, Owen, Griffin, Myngs and Bratley.  He has also hired a pirate vessel to help scout local islands, for he has heard of some helpful items in the nearby island chain.\n\n\nEach ship has a role:\nPearl: Find the UT locations, explore islands before transferring Explosives to the Rye.\n\nRye: Once Explosives has been loaded, the Rye can speed out to the Delusion and blow up the Great White (cancelling Ghost Ship to ram). With a total speed of S+S+S+S, she can outrange the Delusion even if Jack Hawkins gets SAT.  Owen\u0027s Reroll provides a second chance to get the 4-6 on Explosives.\n\nHMS Leicester: The firepower. Essentially a backup unless Lost and Explosives both fail.  She and her bodyguard will provide protection for Pearl and Rye while those 2 ships explore for UT\u0027s.\n\nHMS Henry VIII: Fun for me to include a lesser-used ship in a support role. Her total speed of S+L+S is designed to keep up with the Leicester unless the Leicester speeds away with SAT to bludgeon the Great White. Bratley\u0027s cancellation is a cover for the Leicester, to potentially cancel a crew on Delusion so the Leicester survives an attack. (likely to cancel Fantasma\u0027s World Hater ability, or White Crew\u0027s Massacre)\n\nThe other UT\u0027s are for support: EoI could allow Pearl to get the World Hater ability, and Neptune\u0027s Trident\u0027s range of L+L+L can be used to soften up an approaching Delusion before going in for a full battle against her.\n\n\nIdeal game: Entire fleet sits at home for 20 turns as Pearl spies every single coin in play, revealing locations of every UT. Rye starts the game docked in between Leicester and Henry VIII, preventing any attempt to capture her with a ram+tow SAT.  Pearl first explores the Lost island, placing a reef under the Great White and eliminating between 4 and 9 masts depending on the reef roll. If 6+ masts are eliminated, Leicester waits out of range for an SAT from Myngs (Delusion striking range is only L+L with SAT, and no captain or helmsman).  Leicester moves in for the cannon barrage and overpowers the Delusion, sinking her to the depths!  (ideally with Bratley cancelling the Eternal keyword as she sinks, to keep her down forever)\n\nIf the reef eliminates only 4 or 5 masts, Gunn will give Rye a chance to win the game, as attacking Delusion becomes a bit more risky.  After Lost is resolved, Pearl moves on to grab Explosives, transferring it to Rye (or Rye can just explore to load it herself, if it is safe to do so).  Rye does her thing and has a decent chance at ending things without TGunn or HGold needing to get involved.  Even if the Explosives fail, a weakened Delusion will likely be decimated by the duo of Leicester and Henry VIII, with the Leicester hitting 2\/3 of the time and each shot splintering 2 masts.  Henry VIII has a cannon bonus against The Cursed, so the Great White probably won\u0027t last long."}
