Bartholomew Roberts

CREW
(May 17, 1682 - February 10, 1722) Bart Roberts was the single most successful pirate during the Golden Age of Piracy. His exploits from Brazil to new Foundland showed how he could command as well as any seasoned naval veterran. He also created the Articles of Piracy that he made his crew swear on when they came signed to sail with him. He drank tea rather than rum, dressed only in the finest clothes and was considred bullet-proof by his crew. Killed by Grapeshot that ripped open his neck, he was weighted down and buried at sea.
