Known by her alias "La Dame Rouge," presumably for her deep red hair, May-Ren is French-born; reportedly from the Aquitane region of France. Rumors say she was trained by a rogue, teaching her in the arts of swordplay and small arms. Once coming of age she set to sea, where she quickly made a name for herself as an ablebodied boarder and natural leader. Her rise in French circles have come, however, at the cost of crossing blades with many a pirate, several of whom would gladly pay a hefty sum for her disappearance from the seas.
