Isambard Kingdom Brunel was first and foremost, a man of England. Having been the driving force behind many an innovation in civil engineering; his biggest project, the "Great Eastern" was a ship of titanic proportions at near 700 feet long. Though there were reports of Brunel suffering a fatal stroke before the ship's maiden voyage in 1859, many have claimed to have since seen the man aboard ship, smoking his favorite cigar and making notes on improvements to the ship.
